Toby's North Shore

Love the food, love the staff and love the friendly atmosphere! The server dude all in black is hilarious. He comes by lots but always makes it unique so you're laughing and not feeling like he's always there. It really works! My daughter had a gluten free club sandwich with no tomatoes (yuck, he said! LOL!) and gluten free fries and I had Bangers and Mash! Loved it all! Thanks!

Really nice and friendly place.Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, was maybe 5 minutes.I would like to recommend the calamari, Toby's burger as well as the salads. Great place to watch a game, drink a beer with a friend or eat your favorite meal!

This place was packed when we came here for brunch! They seemed a bit under staffed as it was difficult to flag down a server. But when they finally arrive they were polite and friendly. Food was decent for the price.

I love the mac & cheese with pulled pork. Also the $4 sleeves :P

We had a quick pub lunch and great as usual. Great service, excellent food, good beer and great atmosphere. Still one of the best. Worth the visit. A must go to.

I love this place! They give marvelous meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that spot is very trained, I like very much tasting all their food. The food is always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the customers is helpful. I go often to this place and I was never discontended. I highly recommend it.

Awesome place to hang out with friends and grab some quality food. Good choice of draft beer and great service too. Would highly recommend.

Great location in N. Vancouver right near The Ironworkers Bridge. Nice sized parking lot with an accessible entrance but be aware part of the pub is up a few stairs (not the washrooms though). Great food, big servings and decent prices. While our waitress wasn't the warmest we've ever had, we'll definitely be back.

A great pub for dinner and a beer, or dinner, or just a beer. Excellent pub food. Simple menu. A great variety of on tap beers as well as wine. I had the fish and chips, and they were great. Perfectly cooked, with battered chips. We sat at the bar, as it was a busy Saturday night. A beautiful bar, and well stocked. Will be back for sure!

What really makes this place stand out, the wait staff. They are always super friendly, always willing to go above and beyond, and great disposition.

Kind and attentive servers. Family friendly. Extremely accommodating to my large group's dietary needs and preferences. My mother was especially delighted with the roast beef dinner special! Nice drink list and happy hour options.

Reasonably good brunch on a weekend. Price is the same as Denny's but there is no comparison on quality... Much better option.

Great fish tacos... I love the fact that the fish is not batter, for a low carb meal and it comes with a decent size side salad. My date had the Toby burger... loaded with fixings.... it was so stuffed, i didn't think they would be able to take a bite. 😋

We are lucky on the North Shore - so many great pubs but Toby's is our favourite go to place. Food is always consistently good, something for everyone on the menu. They are well staffed with experienced serversAlways leave happy!

On Main Street in North Vancouver. Food is always good and service is good. My personal favorite is the sliders and torte for dessert. It's a sports bar, so always hockey or another big league sport on the screens. Monday nights have, you guessed it, Monday Night Football. Self seating (!)

It's average across the board. Food is okay and the atmosphere is nothing to get excited about, if you just need to stop off for a bite to eat and/or a beer, it's fine but it's not a night out ever

Great happy hour pricing on all sleeves. Wings and rib ends also feature priced. Greats screens to watch sports on. Good menu selection too.

I'm a semi-regular, as it's very close to where I live. The food is mediocre, but the service is pretty good, as is the vibe.The perfect local watering hole.

Lovely old style pub. Service is efficient without being overly friendly. The food is good pub food, some of the best greasy fries around for sure. I was there for lunch, crowd was well aged, but they fit in well. Good place to hang with friends and have good conversations.

Very hungry, we stopped in on a rainy/snowy night in January. We were also lost! I ordered Irish Stew, never tasted it before & I'm usually cautious. It was delicious!! I live 1100 miles from Toby's and want to go back! Great service, warm atmosphere. Full marks. Loved it.

Wanted to have breakfast there but the breakfast menu is limited on weekdays. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich was good and service was excellent.

Service was okay, nothing great but not bad. Food was okay. Ordered the Yorkshire Puddings for myself. Very little seasoning in the gravy. Fries are outstanding though. Other person in my party ordered Seared Ahi Tuna wrap which was really good. Great place for applies and watching a game.

Nachos were good. Very large portion. Beer was also good. Nice location, friendly staff.

Me and my wife wanted to get a quick bite to eat. Our server/bartender Nathan was very welcoming and even though we were sitting in a separate area, he kept making sure we were OK and comfortable with the food. The food was delicious, the cocktail superb and the atmosphere was bubbly. We live close by and will continue going here.

Reserved the back room for brunch and it was great! A few messups on the order but were remedied and the meal was delicious!

Because of its central location in North Vancouver, my work likes to have retirement parties here. It's very easy to book and set up. Tobies has great selection of beers and good appetizers. The waitresses are very good and you never have to worry about having an empty drinks.
